I know my value as a woman and have a very clear idea of what I'm looking for. I don't mean this in a purely physical manner, although attraction is VERY important, but in what type of qualities I want and need in a man. I'm a very balanced person, so I would like my partner to be well rounded too. Some key characteristics I look for include romance, passion, confidence, intelligence, stability, determination, charisma, respect, safety, loyalty, and honesty. I want some one to sweep me off my feet who's grounded enough that we both won't go toppling over after. ;) I want some one who will love me for my strength but wants to be my protection so I don't need to be. Some one who can be at once dominant, tender, and an equal.

I'm not very good at being guarded as I am simply me, which includes an innocent optimism that people are innately good and therefore walls are unnecessary. True, that this leaves me more vulnerable than others, but I would rather take the bruises of vulnerability then to destroy the person I am with suspicion and fear.

Men need respect as women need security, both require trust and open communication. I am excellent at explaining in a logical and digestible manner what is upsetting me and why, I don't expect you to be a mind reader and "just know," please do me the same courtesy. I would rather laugh and playfully wrestle until we lose ourselves in an intimate moment then spend energy arguing, so I always aim for a quick resolution of disputes. No, I don't ignore problems, so I need some one who is willing to have uncomfortable conversations so we can get back to the fun stuff. :)..

I'm a very strong, confident, positive, intelligent, energetic, and outgoing person who also enjoys silence and the simple things in life, like kisses on the forehead and inside jokes. I want a partner in crime, a team mate, a confidant, and a best friend who I can't seem to get enough of!
